TPI recognized the need for North American manufacturing of wire harness assemblies. Machines built today make extensive use of electrical components and control modules requiring greater complexity in wire harness design versus older machinery. With technology changing rapidly, OEMs make frequent changes to the electrical architecture to keep competitive, and this drives continuous changes to wire harness designs.

To address industry needs, TPI developed a wire harness manufacturing system to handle the fast and frequent design change requirements. Incorporating the latest technology, the TPI system is optimized for mid to low volume batch sizes of medium to high complexity. The system is also tailored to allow quick and efficient harness revisions as designs evolve.
